Yes! Schooxie is designed to work for nursery schools, primary schools, secondary schools, combined schools, and even polytechnics. The platform adapts to your school structure — you choose the modules and features that apply to your institution.
Absolutely. Schooxie is a multi-user platform. You can have your principal, administrators, teachers, and support staff all logged in simultaneously. Each user only sees what their role permits — teachers see their classes, admins see the whole school, etc.
Yes! Every new school gets a free onboarding session with our customer success team. We also provide video tutorials, a help center with 200+ articles, and live chat support during business hours. For Enterprise plans, you get a dedicated account manager.
Currently, Schooxie is available in English. We are actively working on adding French (for Francophone Africa), Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo language support. Our SMS and communication tools support all languages.
Yes, the Free plan is free forever and supports up to 50 students, 5 teachers, and 3 classes. It includes basic academic management and simple result cards. You can use it as long as you need without any time limit.
When you sign up for any paid plan (Starter, Professional, or Enterprise), you automatically get 30 days of full access to all features at no cost. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, you can choose to subscribe or stay on the Free plan.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your subscription settings. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Your data is always preserved regardless of plan changes.
No setup fees, no hidden fees, no surprises. The price you see is exactly what you pay. Data migration from your old system, basic customization, and onboarding are all included at no extra cost.
Yes! We offer up to 50% discount for verified non-profit schools, faith-based schools, government schools, and schools in underserved communities. Contact us at hello@schooxie.com with your registration/proof of status.
Yes! We offer monthly, termly (3-month), and annual billing. Termly billing saves you 11% and annual billing saves you 33% compared to monthly. This is especially convenient for schools that receive fees termly.
Data security is our highest priority. Schooxie uses 256-bit AES encryption for all data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. Your school's data is completely isolated from other schools (multi-tenant architecture). We perform daily encrypted backups and are GDPR/NDPR compliant.
Yes! We've specifically optimized the platform for African network conditions. The web app is lightweight and loads quickly on 3G connections. For areas with very poor connectivity, admins can enter data offline and it syncs automatically when connection is restored.
The platform is fully responsive and works great on all devices — phones, tablets, and computers. Parents and students particularly benefit from the mobile-optimized portals. We are also developing dedicated iOS and Android apps for staff and parents.
Paid plans come with a 99.9% uptime SLA. We run on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with automatic failover and load balancing. You can always check real-time system status at status.schooxie.com. In the rare event of downtime, we communicate proactively.
Yes! We support bulk data import via CSV/Excel spreadsheets. We also offer free white-glove data migration for Professional and Enterprise plan customers. Our team will help you migrate from your existing system (even spreadsheets) with zero data loss.
Schooxie is a fully managed cloud platform — we handle all hosting, backups, security patches, and updates. We don't currently offer self-hosted (on-premise) deployments. Your data is hosted on secure servers in Nigeria with additional backups in Europe.
We currently support Paystack (Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa) and Flutterwave (25+ African countries). Parents and schools can fund wallets and pay fees via card, bank transfer, USSD, or mobile money depending on country. We're also adding direct bank debit.
Yes! SchoolXie has a built-in WhatsApp bot that lets parents check fees, results, and attendance by sending a message. Schools on Professional and Enterprise plans can also send automated WhatsApp notifications for fee payment confirmations, result publications, and attendance alerts. We also support bulk SMS via Termii and local Nigerian SMS providers.
Yes! Professional and Enterprise plans include full REST API access with comprehensive documentation. You can use the API to integrate Schooxie with your website, mobile app, biometric device, or any third-party system. OAuth 2.0 and API key authentication are both supported.
Yes, we support integration with popular biometric attendance devices via our API and dedicated integration modules. Compatible brands include ZKTeco, Hikvision, and other devices that support standard attendance data formats. Contact us for specific device compatibility.
Google Workspace integration (Google Classroom sync, Google Drive, Google Meet for CBT proctoring) is available on Professional and Enterprise plans. Microsoft 365 integration is in our roadmap for Q4 2026.
Yes! Professional and Enterprise plans support custom domain configuration. Your school portal can be accessed at portal.yourschool.edu.ng or any domain you own, instead of yourschool.schooxie.com. DNS setup takes less than 24 hours and we handle all SSL certificates.
