  • School Data: School name, address, type, and academic configuration.
  • Student & Staff Records: Names, class assignments, results, attendance, and other academic records that you upload to the platform.
  • Payment Data: Transaction records, payment method details (processed securely by our payment partners — we do not store card numbers).

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date)
  • Device information and usage analytics
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Schooxie platform
  • Process transactions and send related information (receipts, confirmations)
  • Send administrative messages, updates, and security alerts
  • Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues
  • Generate insights and analytics for your school
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Sharing

  • Service Providers: Cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), payment processors (Paystack, Flutterwave), SMS providers (Termii), and email services — bound by confidentiality agreements.
  • Analytics Services: Anonymized/aggregated data may be processed by third-party services to generate educational insights. We do not send personally identifiable student data to external services.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, unless retention is required by law.

Schooxie is designed for use by schools and educational institutions. Student data is handled on behalf of the school (acting as data controller). We process student data only as instructed by the school and in compliance with applicable laws. Parents may request access to or deletion of their child's data through the school administrator.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing
